The brief
What it reads for.
The cross-reference reader. Reads your chapter alongside your story bible and flags narrative continuity issues only a careful human would catch - voice drift, timeline sequencing, plot threads going dormant, internal contradictions within the chapter.
Does NOT chase hard-fact contradictions (eye color, plot-thread status, timeline dates) - those are caught deterministically by a separate system and surface as bible-update prompts directly.
Best when your story has enough established canon that drift is a real risk. You can add your own instructions on top if you'd like this partner to weight a particular concern (e.g. "be strict about my magic-system rules" or "watch for tonal drift between characters").
