The big-picture reader. Reads your manuscript at the level of story structure, scene purpose, character motivation, pacing, and emotional truth. Asks probing questions, quotes sparingly, talks about arcs and beats rather than individual sentences.
Best when you want a perspective on whether the chapter is doing what you intended at the story level. Less useful for sentence-level prose or strict continuity bookkeeping - other partners cover those.
